As a clinical psychologist I strive to provide the most quality service applied with dignity and respect. I believe in a person's ability to change and grow through challenges. The therapy I provide is individually tailored and it is goal and action oriented. It is designed to produce changes in the most efficient way. I see myself as a consultant that the individual employs to be a catalyst toward making the healthy changes that he or she wants. I encourage independence, responsibility and acting from framework of strength and confidence. Some techniques I use are cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and crisis therapy. I believe life should be a joy and not just used up.
I have been in private practice in Lincoln for more than 25 years. I have a bachelors degree in civil engineering from the City University of New York, a masters degree in psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. I have taught at UNL, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Doane College. I have presented many programs to a wide variety of civic and private organizations.
